Project News

Our parish family is growing and we have started a project to add an elevator, a library and classroom, and also to expand our kitchen. Project updates, fundraising events, and pictures will be posted here as they develop.

Since construction costs have increased so much in the past couple years, you can also greatly help us by supporting any of our events or with a tax-deductable donation targeted to our building fund!

Project History

Blessing of the Building Site: Saturday, October 29, 2005

Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Eminence, +Archbishop Antony followed with a procession outside to bless the location of our planned construction site.

Construction Begins: November - December, 2006

Initial utility and drainage improvements are complete. In the foreground view below, you can see the foundation preparation for the space that will contain the elevator tower. In the background, the foundation is complete and the exterior walls for the kitchen expansion and library are being laid.

Construction Underway: Spring - Summer, 2007

With the break in the spring weather, construction started began move much more quickly. These two views show the walls of the new addition, close to being ready for the bricklayers.
